A brief history of time (at vison support)

Today was a really interesting day at work...

Prior to lunch i was working on the awareness training slides i shall be presenting next week on eye conditions and familiarising myself with them.

LUnch time was bitter sweet as it was a retirement do for John from 3C who although i had never really spoken to before i feel will be a big loss to the organisation as the stories he had from his last twenty years of being with Vision Support were really intersting. The changes the place has gone through and the advances it has made from a rather old school of thought are amazing!! I think the suggestion of a book being written about it should really be followed up...(maybe a job for someone else though). Oh and the sandwiches provided wern't half bad either.

The afternoon consisted of a few managment esq questions that i had come up with that the staff in the office could answer in order to get people thinking laterally and i suppose in doing so worked on team building and communactive skills (i now have a question of the day for people that extends beyond the people on my desk to anyone who's in the office). Additionally i dug up and revisited my feasability study which i had written in September of last year for the KTP and am looking in to using work done there for a mini project i have to do next month pending some slight alterations and amendments.

Todays question of the day incidentally was Would you rather have an animals tail (if so which) or an animals horns/antlers (if so which)?

Thats me for the week... another blog monday!
